Resources to learn: Korean

In order to be able to receive a job in East Asia, you need to at least know enough of the language to communicate. Not only that if you are working in PR then you need to know how to translate and write in the language also.
It won’t be uncommon for job listings to say that you need a certain level of proficiency in their language in order to apply.
So I will be showing you different learning materials that you can use to help you on your language journey.
The first langue in this series will be Korean. Therefore here are the top learning materials for learning Korean.
Talk to me in Korean
At the top of our list is Talk to me in Korean or TTMIK.com. It is a mostly free-based site where you can learn the basics of Korean to advance. All topics are organized into levels from 1 to 10, all containing grammar information and sample sentences.
The site also comes with a wide variety of textbooks, workbooks and vocab books that you can use to improve your Korean. For a subscription, you can gain access to videos, audio, and quizzes that will help you even further.
Overall it is a fantastic site to start learning the basics and begin your journey.
2. How to study Korean
In second place is a site is called HowtolearnKorean.com, it is a completely free site where you can learn Korean from scratch. With a total of seven units and over 158 lessons, you can turn into a language pro!
There is an option to buy their workbooks, audio files, or vocab list, however, you already receive most of these for free already. So it is just an option you can do to support the site.
3. 90 day Korean
Next on the list is a site called 90DayKorean.com!It is a blog that is run by a mix of Koreans and foreigners who live in South Korea. They all work together to teach others about the Korean language and culture.
It starts you off with the Korean alphabet and continues to move on to things like phrases and facts. The best part is that you can learn different levels of speech with this site and use it immediately. It is definitely a good starter or side blog that you can use for your Korean study.
4. Go Billy Korean
The Next resource is a site and youtube channel called GO Billy Korean. Billy is the creator of both these resources and makes it his goal to help others learn the Korean language. He himself has been learning since 2005 and still considers himself a study of Korean.
His site and youtube channel are full of pdfs that you can use to learn Korean. From beginner to more advanced concepts and even the alphabet. He takes the time to explain and make sure the viewer/reader understands what is being learned.
5. Integrated Korean
In our last site/resource we will talk about the textbook integrated Korean and the site called Kleartextbook.com. This textbook is often used in colleges in America to teach Korean to students. You will most likely find this book in any classroom in America, however, it can also be used for self-study
The site provides the PowerPoint slides for each lesson in the textbook. Not only that it, also has the audio files for the textbook and workbook that you can use for listening practice. If you ever are self-studying and need the answers for the workbook the site sells it for $10. Making it easy to study Korean at home.
